Andrei Perim and Diego Serpa started Advanced Structural Solutions in July 2021 with a simple bet: a small firm that moves fast, communicates clearly, and puts engineering quality first can outperform the big guys. They had seen how large firms treated condo restoration projects -- as checkbox exercises, not as the serious engineering problems they are.

Renato Silva joined shortly after, bringing the P.E. muscle to take on larger, more complex projects. Three engineers with complementary strengths and a shared frustration: too many firms were slow, opaque, and disconnected from the buildings they were supposed to protect.

Our mission is straightforward: deliver engineering work good enough to stake our names on, treat every building like our own, and build a firm where talented engineers actually want to work. No layers of management between you and the work. No handing you off to a junior after the sales call.

Four years and 100+ projects later -- including over $75M in construction value across South Florida -- that bet is paying off. The team has grown, the capabilities have expanded into MEP and electrical engineering, and the reputation speaks for itself. But the founding principle has not changed: you call us, you get us.
