This website publishes explanations of Florida building safety law — milestone inspections under Statute 553.899, structural integrity reserve studies under Statute 718.112, and county recertification requirements — alongside descriptions of our services. All of it is general information. It is not an engineering opinion, a professional recommendation, or advice about any particular building.

Reading this website does not create an engineer-client relationship between you and Advanced Structural Solutions. No such relationship exists until we have agreed one in writing. Nothing here is a substitute for having a licensed engineer or architect examine your specific building, and nothing here should be relied on to decide whether your building owes an inspection, when a deadline falls, or what repairs are needed.

We take accuracy seriously. Regulatory content is written from primary sources, carries the date it was last verified, and is reviewed as the law changes. But Florida building safety law has been amended in four of the last five legislative sessions, local requirements vary by county and by municipality, and how any rule applies to a particular building depends on facts this website cannot know. Confirm anything that matters with your local building department or with a licensed professional engaged on your project.

We link to statutes, county programmes, municipal ordinances and published research so you can verify what we have written. Those sources are maintained by others, may change without notice, and are not under our control. Where a linked source conflicts with something on this site, the source governs.

Project pages describe work performed by Advanced Structural Solutions. Construction values, scopes and dates are as recorded at the time of publication. Building names are used to identify completed or ongoing engagements and do not imply that the owner or association endorses this firm.

The contact form is for genuine enquiries about engineering services. Please do not use it to send confidential or sensitive information — an unsolicited email is not a secure channel, and sending one does not oblige us to keep its contents confidential or create any professional relationship. Automated submission, scraping and any attempt to disrupt the site are not permitted.

The text, photographs, design and organisation of this website belong to Advanced Structural Solutions unless stated otherwise. Project photography depicts our own work. You are welcome to read, print and share pages for your own reference, and to quote from them with attribution and a link. Republishing substantial portions as your own, or reproducing our photography commercially, requires our permission.
