What We Do

Mechanical engineering is the design of a building's HVAC, ventilation, and mechanical systems — sized and specified for the loads, code requirements, and climate a building actually faces. Advanced Structural Solutions provides mechanical engineering as part of its in-house MEP practice for condos, high-rises, and commercial buildings across South Florida.

Cooling and dehumidification run year-round, cooling loads dominate the energy budget, and poor ventilation invites moisture and mold. What does a mechanical engineer do for a building?

When does a condo or commercial building need mechanical engineering?
